Cristian Palacio Careaga is the Vice President of Business Development of Three Elements Capital and is based in Madrid. He brings over 20 years of experience across the energy and financial sectors, with a focus on structured finance and international infrastructure development.

Prior to joining Three Elements Capital, he held senior roles in global energy and financial institutions, including responsibilities in business development, structured finance and country management across Europe and Latin America. His experience includes the development, financial structuring and execution of large-scale wind and solar projects.

Cristian has led negotiations with international lenders, export credit agencies and financial institutions, and has overseen complex cross-border infrastructure transactions. Throughout his career, he has reported directly to executive leadership and engaged with institutional investors and public sector counterparts.
